Comfort Inn San Diego Old Town

What a nice surprise. The entire hotel was extremely clean. Even going up the stairs and walking the hallways were clean. The parking area and the underground garage parking were very well kept up. No litter anywhere. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Continental breakfast area was clean and the food was fresh. I usually don't go on and on in a review but honestly this was such a pleasant surprise.

This is a nice little place close to Little Italy and Old Town. The staff is really helpful. They have a hot breakfast with all the extras like bagels, bread, fruit, various cereals and waffles you make on your own. It was quiet, people were friendly

Nice Hotel within walking distance of Old Town San Diego. Pool was nice. Everything was clean. Handhold in shower paint was peeling. AC was running in the room upon arrival which was nice since it was so hot and humid the day we arrived. Breakfast was nice and pleasant with waffles scrambled eggs and sausage. There was also milk cereal and OJ. They keep the breakfast area stocked so they never run out. Only reason I gave 4 stars was because they charge $20 dollars to park even though parking is located on their property. Would definitely book again.

Happy with our experience at this Comfort Inn San Diego- Old Town. Booked a King bed room. Room was a decent size for two of us. The mattress was newer and clean! (Yes I pull the covers off and always check our hotel mattresses) Water came out nice and hot in our shower. Would have loved a hot tub! Pool was nice to look at, didn’t have time to enjoy it though. Parking is about $20 a day which is under the hotel in their own parking garage, good for smaller cars as the parking spaces are TIGHT. They do have elevators and Breakfast included. Breakfast selection was decent, scrambled eggs, sausage links or patties (depending on the day) OJ, Milk, Coffee, Toast, Cereal and waffle makers. All in all a good deal. Super close to the Marine base, We came for a Marine Graduation. We were about a 7 min Uber ride away.

I stayed here in May for my high school trip. And I had a great experience. It's a very nice hotel. Especially the pool

Wendy is a super caring receptionist! On a busy weekend afternoon she still managed to fill our request for a high floor room. It was so comforting to be greeted by her reassuring smile. Our room was clean & quiet. The bed was comfortable! Thank you Comfort Inn & Wendy!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Service and Kindness! Our stay at this hotel was already great, but what truly impressed us was the exceptional service afterward. My son accidentally left behind his pictures — memories that were very special to us. The hotel manager, Gabriel, went above and beyond to help. He located the pictures and made sure they were safely shipped back to us. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine care turned a stressful situation into a reminder of how amazing true hospitality can be. We are so grateful for Gabriel and the entire team — highly recommend this hotel for their outstanding customer service and attention to guests!

Overall our stay was short but pleasant with no issues. Wendy and Gabriel (I believe) were both very nice and provided excellent service. Breakfast was always stocked, great options available and staff kept tables and counters clean. We didn’t use the pool but it was clean. Rooms were clean, not modern but if you need to sleep and get ready, this will do. Walking distance from Old town which had great restaurants, shops and a cool events up until 10pm with ghost tours. Only down side: parking was $20/night with underground parking. Thankfully you can come in and out with no issues. Great location from SD airport and less than 10mins to get to most tourist spots.
